Teilnahmebedingungen für das BERLIN TITSCHER MASTER
Herzlich willkommen zum BERLIN TITSCHER MASTER, dem ultimativen Wettbewerb im Weitwurf flacher Steine über das Wasser! Damit das Event für alle ein sicheres und spannendes Erlebnis wird, bitten wir alle Teilnehmer und Zuschauer, die folgenden Bedingungen zu beachten.
1. Teilnahmevoraussetzungen & Wettbewerb
• Jeder Teilnehmer muss in der Lage sein, einen flachen Stein so zu werfen, dass er mindestens dreimal auf dem Wasser aufkommt, bevor er versinkt. Nur solche Würfe gehen in die Wertung ein.
• Der Veranstalter stellt eine Jury, die die Wertung vornimmt. Die Entscheidungen der Jury sind endgültig und nicht anfechtbar.
• Es ist möglich, dass aus organisatorischen Gründen oder bei hoher Teilnehmerzahl die Anzahl der Würfe oder der Runden (z. B. Vorrunde, Viertelfinale, Halbfinale, Finale) angepasst wird.
2. Sicherheit & Eigenverantwortung
• Sowohl Teilnehmer als auch Zuschauer dürfen sich nicht in die Wurfrichtung stellen oder gar schwimmen, um Verletzungen zu vermeiden. Jeder ist für seine eigene Sicherheit verantwortlich.
• Das Veranstaltungsteam gibt Anweisungen zur Sicherheit, die unbedingt zu beachten sind.
• Titschen oder Stone Skimming ist ein Sport am Wasser. Alle Teilnehmer und Zuschauer sollten sich des Risikos bewusst sein und es eigenverantwortlich minimieren.
• Der Veranstalter übernimmt keine Haftung für gesundheitliche Schäden oder Unfälle.
3. Veranstaltungsort & Wetterbedingungen
• Das BERLIN TITSCHER MASTER ist eine Outdoor-Veranstaltung.
• Bei zumutbarem Wetter (Wind oder leichtem bis mäßigem Regen) findet die Veranstaltung trotzdem statt. Sollte jedoch das Wetter jedoch so schlecht sein, dass das Event nicht durchgeführt werden kann, wird das BTM verschoben oder abgesagt.
• Falls das Event verschoben wird, bleibt das Ticket gültig. Sollte der Ersatztermin nicht wahrgenommen werden können, wird der Ticketpreis erstattet. Anreise- und Unterbringungskosten werden jedoch nicht erstattet.
4. Mediennutzung & Datenschutz
• Während des Events werden Foto- und Videoaufnahmen gemacht.
• Der Veranstalter ist berechtigt, dieses Material für Social Media, Fernsehen, Printmedien und andere Zwecke zur Bewerbung oder Berichterstattung über das Event zu nutzen.
• Mit der Teilnahme erklären sich alle Anwesenden damit einverstanden.
5. Schlussbestimmungen
• Der Veranstalter behält sich vor, die Regeln anzupassen, falls es aus organisatorischen Gründen erforderlich ist.
• Mit der Anmeldung oder Teilnahme am Event erklären sich alle Teilnehmer und Zuschauer mit diesen Bedingungen einverstanden.

Terms of Participation for the BERLIN TITSCHER MASTERS
Welcome to the BERLIN TITSCHER MASTERS, the ultimate competition in long-distance stone skipping! To ensure a safe and exciting experience for everyone, all participants and spectators are asked to follow these terms and conditions.
1. Participation Requirements & Competition
• Each participant must be able to throw a flat stone so that it skips at least three times on the water before sinking. Only such throws will be counted.
• The event organizer provides an official jury responsible for scoring. The jury’s decisions are final and cannot be contested.
• Due to organizational reasons or a high number of participants, the number of throws or competition rounds (e.g., preliminary, quarterfinal, semifinal, final) may be adjusted.
2. Safety & Personal Responsibility
• Both participants and spectators must not stand or swim in the throwing direction to prevent injuries. Everyone is responsible for their own safety.
• The event team will provide safety instructions that must be followed at all times.
• Stone skipping is a water-related sport. All participants and spectators should be aware of the risks and take personal responsibility for minimizing them.
• The organizer assumes no liability for health-related damages or accidents.
3. Venue & Weather Conditions
• The BERLIN TITSCHER MASTERS is an outdoor event.
• The event will take place even in reasonable weather conditions (wind or light to moderate rain). However, if the weather conditions make it impossible to proceed, the event will be postponed or canceled.
• If postponed, tickets will remain valid. If participants are unable to attend the new date, ticket costs will be refunded. However, travel and accommodation costs will not be reimbursed.
4. Media Use & Data Protection
• Photo and video recordings will be made during the event.
• The organizer has the right to use this material for social media, television, print media, and other promotional or event-related purposes.
• By attending, all participants and spectators agree to this.
5. Final Provisions
• The organizer reserves the right to modify the rules if necessary for organizational reasons.
• By registering for or attending the event, all participants and spectators agree to these terms.
